Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) announced today that Montgomery County company TECHLAB, Inc., has been accepted into the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Additionally, it was announced today that Montgomery County's Moog, Inc., has now graduated from the two-year program.

First established in 2002, VALET is an international business acceleration program operated by VEDP that offers Virginia companies opportunities to learn how to better navigate global markets and to expand their international sales by a program average of 78 percent.

“When Virginia businesses expand their target markets overseas and increase revenues, the Commonwealth’s economy grows,” said VEDP President and CEO Jason El Koubi in VEDP's press release. “The VALET program has helped more than 350 companies successfully navigate the changing global marketplace and expand international sales over the past two decades, directly contributing to Virginia's economic vitality."

TECHLAB and Moog join a growing list of Montgomery County companies across a wide variety of industries that have benefitted from participating in the VALET program, including Phoenix Integration, Aeroprobe Corporation, Torc Robotics, and Foxguard Solutions. Other Montgomery County businesses recently accepted into VALET include Alacran Consulting, Inc., in January of 2022 and Inorganic Ventures in July of 2022.
